Location:
1000 Schuylkill Manor Rd, Pottsville, PA 17901
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related
- Must have, as a minimum, five (5) year(s) experience in Human Resources Administration, preferably in a long-term care or hospital setting
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in nursing care facilities
- Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the Human Resources programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the Facility
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
- Performance management and improvement systems;
- Organization development and training in support of organizational directives;
- Management of Employment and compliance/ regulatory concerns;
- Employee staffing, orientation, development, and training;
- Policy implementation and education;
- Employee relations including direction of the employee engagement committee;
- Compensation and benefits administration;
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health management including management of location Workers Compensation and Unemployment programs.
