Human Resources Manager (HR Manager)

Staunton Post Acute & Rehabilitation is seeking an organized, approachable Human Resources Manager to support our employees and facility leadership. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to build relationships, strengthen the employee experience, and keep essential HR processes running smoothly.
You’ll have regional HR support. You will partner with a Regional HR Director for guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, compliance, and challenging workplace situations. You’ll also collaborate with dedicated talent acquisition, benefits, and employee experience teams, giving you resources to support employees and grow your HR skills.

What You’ll DoServe as a resource for employees and managers, answering HR questions and helping resolve concerns.
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation so employees feel prepared and welcomed from day one.
Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition to support hiring and onboarding.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR system information, including required employment documentation.
Coordinate payroll‑related updates and help resolve timekeeping questions with the appropriate teams.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and connect them with the benefits team.
Support employee relations, attendance, and performance management in partnership with your Regional HR Director.
Help apply policies consistently and partner with regional HR on compliance questions and matters requiring additional review.
Track required training, credentials, and employment documentation.
Support employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
Collaborate with facility leadership, regional HR, and specialized support teams on workplace improvements.
Strong communication skills and an approachable, professional manner.
The ability to manage competing priorities, follow through, and maintain accurate records.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning HR, payroll, and applicant tracking systems.
A commitment to responsive service and fair, consistent treatment of employees.
At least one year of experience in human resources, employee training, or a related role.
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred.
Healthcare or skilled nursing experience. Candidates with transferable HR experience from other industries are encouraged to apply.
