The Oracle WMS Architect is responsible for leading end-to-end Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations within Oracle EBS R12 environments.
This role requires deep expertise in Oracle SaaS and WMS modules, with strong experience in integrating business requirements into scalable Oracle solutions.
The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project phases from requirement gathering to go-live, and address critical business issues to ensure successful solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Oracle WMS implementation projects within Oracle EBS R12 environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Oracle-based solutions.
- Provide subject-matter expertise across Oracle R12 modules including OM, PO, INV, and WMS.
- Support manufacturing-related modules such as ASCP, Bill of Materials, and Work-in-Process (as required).
- Oversee integration of Oracle applications with third-party systems, including label processing systems.
- Independently manage project phases including requirement gathering, CRP, UAT, go-live activities, migration, and hypercare.
- Troubleshoot and resolve business-critical issues during implementation, coordinating with Oracle Support when necessary.
- Ensure high-quality delivery through strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle WMS and Oracle SaaS (mandatory).
- 15+ years of experience working in an Oracle EBS R12.2 applications environment (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with full lifecycle Oracle WMS implementations.
- Proficiency in Oracle R12 modules such as Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), Inventory (INV), and WMS.
- Strong understanding of Oracle integrations with third-party systems.
- Experience working on Oracle development projects in an EBS R12.2 environment.
- Ability to convert business requirements into scalable Oracle solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address user needs effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage implementation phases independently.
- Knowledge of manufacturing modules including ASCP, Bill of Materials, and Work-in-Process.
- Experience with Oracle EBS technical components.
- Prior experience handling escalations and raising SRs with Oracle Support.
