We are seeking highly cleared professionals who excel at the intersection of advanced communications infrastructure, distributed systems, and mission assurance—where reliability, security, and performance are paramount.
Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared ITSM Tool Developer- SME to support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina.
As an ITSM Tool Developer-SME you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:
- Provides strategic technical and management leadership for defining the overarching vision, policies, and architectural standards for ITSM tool (Service Now) development specifically for C2
ISR Configuration Change Management (CCM) across the entire enterprise. - Establishes enterprise-level goals and long-range strategic plans for optimizing the ITSM platform's development (e.g., Service Now) to support systematic documentation, tracking, and management of all engineering change requests and design modifications.
- Serves as the principal authority on complex ITSM platform architecture, CMDB design principles, advanced scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, REST APIs), and integration strategies for mission-critical CCM processes.
- Directs and controls all ITSM tool development initiatives related to CCM, holding ultimate responsibility for strategic planning, resource allocation, and process methodologies that ensure comprehensive traceability and continuous infrastructure management.
- Leverages deep domain and expert technical knowledge of the ITSM platform to conduct comprehensive architectural reviews, develop advanced mitigation strategies for platform vulnerabilities, and integrate innovative, proactive development solutions (e.g., AI/ML-driven change impact analysis, predictive maintenance features within CCM).
- Engages in high-level client negotiations and strategic interfacing with senior management, shaping ITSM tool development policies, resource allocation, and technical standards with critical impact on C2
ISR mission effectiveness and the speed of capability deployment. - Utilize the following role specific tools:
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other web development languages, Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) (Service Now CMDB, BMC Helix, Solar Winds) for centralized repository and traceability of configuration items; version control systems (Git, Subversion) with CI/CD integration for automated testing, branching, and rollback; change impact analysis tools (dependency mapping engines, blast radius analyzers) for service dependency tracking and risk scoring; and automated conflict detection;
enterprise configuration management platforms (SharePoint, Confluence, Alfresco) for documentation, site plans, rack elevations, and ICDs; compliance audit checklists for DoD CCM standards, RMF requirements, and Section 508 accessibility;
Required qualifications:
- Previous experience as an ITSM Tool Developer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCD level;
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 10 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 7 years’ experience with a PhD. or 16 years' w/o a degree or 14 years' with AA/AS
- A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
- US citizenship is required
