As aSATCOM Engineer - Junioryouwill provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

• Applies fundamental SATCOM network principles toassistin diagnostic capabilities for C2
  
  ISR SATCOM network challenges.
• Supports end-to-end infrastructure testing and connectivity verification for SATCOM links, collecting data and documenting basic findings.
• Assistsin basic fault isolation for SATCOM network outages, following established procedures and using diagnostic tools under direct supervision.
• Contributes to proactive monitoring efforts for SATCOM network environments by reporting anomalies in link performance or terminal status.
• Aids in the verification of satellite signal quality and modem operational parameters during troubleshooting scenarios.
• Works under direct supervision, focusing on executing routine network troubleshooting tasks and developing foundational knowledge of SATCOM network architecture and diagnostic tools.

• Utilize the following
  
  Role Specific Tools: SATCOM monitoring tools (L3 Harris SRVT, Element Management Systems); RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes); network modeling and simulation software (OPNET, Riverbed Modeler, MATLAB); cabling and installation tools (fiber termination kits, copper testers); project documentation templates;
  Service Desk ticketing systems (Service Now, Remedy); network diagramming software (Visio,Lucidchart); virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper V); backup and disaster recovery platforms (Veeam, Commvault); SIEM tools (Splunk, Arc Sight,QRadar).

• Previous experience asaSATCOM Engineeror similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMDlevel;
• Minimum of2years’experience with a BS/BA or0years’ experience with a MS/MA or6years’ experience withno degree. 6 years' w/o a degree or 4 years' with AS/AA degree
• A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
• US citizenship is required
• DoD 8140 role for WRC: 441;

• DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
