Location: Jeffersonville

We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our tech support team in Jeffersonville. This role is responsible for providing technical support to the end-user community and associated enterprise applications, network connectivity, desktop infrastructure (both physical and virtual), operating systems, software, hardware, and peripherals.

What you'll own
  • Manage incoming request queues for service via ITSM system and prioritize work based on severity.
  • Resolve incidents, service requests, and access requests within agreed service levels through multiple communication channels.
  • Investigate and respond to all support requests following documented processes to restore or fulfill IT services for end users.
  • Assist with maintaining the functionality and efficiency of computers and user objects in Active Directory, including unlocking team member accounts.
  • Prepare desktops and laptops by imaging devices, test them for proper operation, and ensure physical and virtual desktop infrastructure interconnects seamlessly with application servers, print servers, etc.
  • Set up and configure appropriate hardware and software for new team members.
  • Respond to technical issues such as desktop/laptop hardware, peripheral equipment, operating systems and installed software, and follow through to resolution.
  • Begin to service issues related to mobile devices and deliver replacement equipment.
  • Update Asset Management systems with computer hardware and user details.
  • Assist with procurement by identifying hardware part numbers and comparing pricing options.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience providing technical support to end users on various devices, operating systems, and peripherals.
  • Bonus:
    Experience in an Enterprise IT group.
