Part Time Instructor - School of Computing & Analytics

Fixed Term

The School of Computing and Analytics at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for part‑time instructor positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in one or more of the following areas:

• Computer Science & Software Engineering
• Cybersecurity & Information Technology
• Information Systems & Analytics

• Teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the School of Computing and Analytics, depending on departmental needs and the candidate's qualifications.
• Deliver high‑quality instruction in face‑to‑face, online, and/or hybrid formats as assigned.
• Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Develop and maintain course materials consistent with departmental learning outcomes.
• Submit grades and other required documentation in accordance with university policies.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Health Informatics, or a closely related field.

• Doctoral degree in a computing‑related discipline.
• Previous college or university teaching experience.
• Relevant industry experience and/or professional certifications.
• Experience teaching in online and/or hybrid learning environments.

• Cover letter describing teaching interests, qualifications, and areas of expertise.
• Curriculum vitae or résumé.
