As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will join our Data Science and Engineering team at Upsun to help our company make smarter choices. You will do this by helping us better understand our customers and internal operations. You will work with large amounts of platform and business data to create clear insights that improve our product and decisions. In this role, you will use
SQL

data tools. You will work on important projects like building new data models with Salesforce and financial data, or working with AI tools and cloud cost modeling (Fin Ops).

Data Modeling and Architecture: You will design and build models that turn raw data into useful metrics and data products, using DBT and medallion architecture.

Metric Design & Ownership: You will define what success looks like for our products, setting up and tracking key business metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work with technical and non-technical teams to collect requirements, share methods, and teach best practices for using data.

Technical Leadership: You will lead data modeling projects, choosing the right tools and planning how to complete the work.

Scalable Solutions: You will work efficiently with data of all sizes, including petabyte-scale datasets, to help everyone make data-based decisions.

Strategic Advisory: You will guide partner teams by creating and explaining analytical metrics, helping them understand how data impacts different parts of the product and business.

Operational Efficiency: You will improve our team’s processes and code by creating well-documented solutions that can be used again in the future.

Evolving Modern Stack: You will use modern tools (GCP Big Query, AWS S3, Fivetran, Hightouch, and AI tools like Claude Code) and help us improve our data architecture as it grows.

Global Remote Culture: You will work with a worldwide, remote team that values learning, open source software, and new ideas.
