The Product Management Coordinator supports the Product Management team in maintaining the performance, quality and successful delivery of assigned Ignition Interlock, Speed Aware, Portable and complementary products or modules.
This position collects and analyzes product information, coordinates the resolution of product and technical issues, maintains product documentation and training resources, and supports product enhancements and new-product initiatives. The position also works closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, IT, Engineering, Compliance and Certification, Service, Operations and Software teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collect, organize, and monitor information related to product performance, service quality, field issues, customer feedback, and established quality standards.
- Serve as an initial internal resource for routine product questions and coordinate follow-up with the appropriate teams.
- Coordinate communication and resolution efforts among Field teams, Research and Development, Information Technology, Engineering, Software, Service, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Document and track product requests, technical issues, decisions, action items, milestones, risks, and resolutions.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of assigned products, systems, features, and operational processes.
- Support product enhancements, feature initiatives, testing, launch-readiness activities, and other product projects under the direction of the Senior Product Manager.
- Develop and maintain product presentations, specifications, reference materials, training resources, competitive information, and other internal documentation.
- Conduct assigned market, competitor, and technology research and summarize relevant findings for Product Management.
- Prepare reports and recommendations regarding product trends, recurring issues, process gaps, and potential improvement opportunities.
- Keep the Director of Product Management, Senior Product Manager, and relevant stakeholders informed of product performance, open issues, risks, delays, and recommended next steps.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product support, technical support, operations, project coordination, business analysis, quality assurance, customer support, or a related role preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Smar Trac architecture, system design, and implementation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or over-the-phone technical support environment preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within technical and operational environments required.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally on team initiatives required.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, presentations, and written communication required.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, manage time, and follow-up required.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment required.
- Ability to work varied hours and travel when required (less than 5%) required.
- Strong business acumen required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products required.
- Technical competency and experience with process mapping or workflow tools preferred.
- Ability to work onsite at the Grapevine, Texas corporate office a minimum of four (4) days per week required.
