We are seeking an experienced Campus Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise Campus WLAN/LAN infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco and Aruba networking technologies, network security, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network modernization, infrastructure projects, and ongoing operational excellence while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of enterprise network environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise Campus WLAN/LAN networks.
- Configure, manage, and support Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and Catalyst 9000 series switches.
- Configure and manage Aruba Central, Mobility Gateways, Access Points, and Clear Pass.
- Support network upgrades, infrastructure deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure network availability, performance, reliability, and security across enterprise environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Configure and support switching technologies including VLANs, STP, and trunking.
- Develop, maintain, and update network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation to support critical network incidents and production issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to implement scalable networking solutions.
- Apply network security best practices across wired and wireless environments.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in LAN/WAN engineering.
- Strong expertise with Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, and Catalyst 9000 series switches.
- Experience managing Aruba Central, Mobility Gateways, Access Points, and Clear Pass.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise WLAN/LAN design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Strong understanding of switching technologies including STP, VLANs, and trunking.
- Knowledge of enterprise network security best practices.
- Experience supporting network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies such as Cisco Viptela or HPE Edge Connect.
- Experience with network automation tools including Ansible or Python.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud networking technologies.
- Experience with Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).
- Experience using Ekahau wireless planning and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
- Experience with network monitoring and analytics tools such as Solar Winds or Splunk.
- HPE Aruba certifications, including ACMA or ACMP.
- CCNP Enterprise or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure/Wireless certification.
