SONIFI is known around the world as the best guest technology provider in hospitality. We partner with leading hotel brands and properties to deliver technology that connects, informs, and entertains guests while helping our customers operate more effectively.

We’re looking for a hands‑on AI & Automation Lead to help SONIFI identify, build, and scale practical automation and AI solutions across the business. This role will work directly with business leaders, process owners, and technology teams to understand how work gets done today, identify where automation can make a meaningful difference, and take solutions from discovery through production deployment and adoption.

This is not a strategy-only AI role. You’ll be expected to get into the workflows, evaluate the right technical approach, build and integrate solutions, and help establish repeatable standards for how SONIFI uses automation and applied AI across the organization.

What you'll do
  • Partner with business leaders and process owners to evaluate current workflows, quantify manual effort and failure points, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and define the business outcomes an automation or AI solution should achieve.
  • Assess automation opportunities and determine the right approach, including process simplification, native system capabilities, deterministic automation, systems integration, low-code tools, or applied AI. Prioritize opportunities based on business value, complexity, risk, organizational readiness, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy production-ready automation, integration, and AI-enabled solutions using APIs, scripting, integration platforms, low-code tools, and LLM-enabled workflows or agents. Build integrations across systems such as Salesforce, Net Suite, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and other business applications.
  • Build solutions for reliability, security, performance, maintainability, and cost effectiveness. Establish appropriate controls such as human approval points, exception handling, retries, logging, monitoring, audit trails, access controls, credential management, and rollback procedures.
  • Establish testing and quality assurance practices to validate accuracy, reliability, and performance before deployment, while ensuring solutions meet SONIFI's security, privacy, and data governance requirements.
  • Partner with end users and system owners through implementation and adoption. Provide training, documentation, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support so automated workflows have clear ownership and can continue to improve after deployment.
  • Establish performance baselines and KPIs, measure results such as labor hours, cycle time, execution consistency, data quality, and customer or employee experience, and continuously improve deployed solutions. Help establish repeatable standards and best practices for AI and workflow automation across SONIFI.
What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, Engineering, another related technical or business field, or equivalent education and practical experience.
  • Seven or more years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, business systems, technical operations, workflow automation, or related technology solutions in business environments, including recent hands‑on experience building AI-assisted or LLM-enabled workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, schemas, and rate limits, plus experience using Git or another version-control tool.
  • Production experience with at least one automation or integration platform such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or an equivalent platform, along with experience building LLM-enabled workflows using Claude, OpenAI, or similar technologies.
  • Experience implementing production integration controls such as exception handling, idempotency, logging, monitoring, credential management, and auditability, with a strong understanding of systems integration, APIs, data flows, workflow automation, and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication,…
