We are seeking a Scrum Master to support multiple Agile software development teams within a large enterprise environment. This role combines Scrum leadership with project management responsibilities to facilitate Agile ceremonies, drive continuous improvement, manage project delivery, and foster collaboration across technical and business teams. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong communication skills who can adapt Agile practices to meet evolving organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Track team progress, identify risks, remove impediments, and ensure successful delivery of project commitments.
- Partner with Product Owners and development teams to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Support project planning, backlog management, capacity planning, and work estimation activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to align delivery objectives with business priorities.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Assist with requirements gathering, process documentation, and project planning activities.
- Support quality assurance efforts, testing coordination, defect remediation, and technical debt management.
- Deliver project status updates and communicate progress, risks, and key milestones to leadership and stakeholders.
- Protect development teams from unnecessary distractions while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.
- Drive Agile adoption and recommend improvements to team processes, workflows, and delivery practices.
- Support multiple Agile software development teams simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a similar Agile delivery role.
- Experience supporting Agile software development teams in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Scrum frameworks, Agile methodologies, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting team accountability.
- Experience managing multiple projects, initiatives, or work streams simultaneously.
- Experience with project planning, scope management, scheduling, risk management, and delivery tracking.
- Practical knowledge of work estimation, capacity planning, and delivery forecasting.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Ability to adapt Agile practices to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Ability to work onsite in St. Louis, MO.
- Experience supporting multiple software application development teams.
- Experience working in large enterprise Agile environments.
- Experience driving Agile transformation and process improvement initiatives.
