We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Location: - Dallas,TX- USA(On-site)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor / (Dispatch /Part-Time)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

Axiom Technologies is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (Dispatch/Part-Time Role) based in Dallas, TX, USA. This Dispatch/Part-Time, independent contractor role involves providing both on-site and remote support for end users while efficiently managing assignments and coordinating service requests. You'll serve as the go-to technical resource for desktop support, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and smooth coordination among field technicians and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
  • Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
  • Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
  • Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
  • Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
  • Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in onsite support environments
Tools Required to Carry
  • Engineers must carry the following tools while attending onsite support requests:
  • Windows Laptop
  • LAN Cable
  • Screwdriver Toolkit
  • Basic IT troubleshooting tools
Work Model
  • On-demand / field support role
  • Work assignments will be shared by the Service Delivery Team
  • Engineers will be contacted via phone or email when support is required
  • Engineers will receive site location, SPOC details, and reporting time before each assignment
  • No guaranteed number of working hours
