Engineers Batch/Micro-Batch ETL/ELT Pipelines, Medallion Layered Data Models, and Enterprise Open Lakehouse Architectures
Join Carrier Global Corporation as a Data Engineer supporting customer solutions architecture across commercial and operational domains (Remote, FL). Bringing 3+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience with SQL and Python, you will build and optimize production‑ready data pipelines, construct medallion‑layered data models (bronze/silver/gold), and integrate enterprise ERP systems into cloud‑native open lakehouse environments like AWS, GCP, and Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and monitor batch and micro‑batch data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines.
- Design ETL/ELT workflows that integrate disparate data sources from enterprise ERPs, operational platforms, and external systems.
- Apply medallion architecture principles (raw, refined, curated) to enforce data quality, consistency, and component reusability.
- Implement data validation rules, data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage monitoring to align with enterprise governance standards.
- Partner with data product leads, architects, and analytics teams within an Agile delivery model to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
- Support customer onboarding and operationalization of delivered pipelines and analytical data assets.
