The Data Analyst will collaborate with the Data Product teams and stakeholders on data analysis and reporting, building, and maintaining analysis tools, monitoring and improving data quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, profile, process, and analyze data from various systems, to provide valuable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Data Products teams and Business stakeholders to provide decision-support solutions, as well as build and enhance Liaison’s Data Products
  • Analyze data and reports to identify quality and process issues and make improvements.
  • Present data-driven analysis and insights to diverse technical and non-technical audiences and drive business and technology enhancements.
  • Needs to be available during US business hours
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, DS or equivalent (another technical field, certifications, experience)
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer ora similar data-centric role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract insights from large data sets using SQL and Python. Ability to work independently to reverse-engineer and represent complex business logic in SQL (or Python) scripts.
  • Skilled data detective, able to research and understand large unfamiliar complex data sets and uncover data quality issues, inconsistencies, and patterns.
  • Required experience:
    • Collecting, cleaning, profiling, analyzing, visualizing data and presenting insights to diverse (technical and business) audiences. Understanding of AI-powered data ops.
    • Building dashboards with Tableau or similar BI tools
    • Working with relational databases like Postgres and SQL Server
    • Cloud-based data management solutions (preferably Snowflake), AWS, data integration solutions and ETL pipelines
  • Understanding of and interest in statistical concepts and methods for data analysis
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, has excellent communication and time-management skills, demonstrates critical thinking and growth mindset.
