Join our dynamic team as a Skill Bridge Intern, tailored for transitioning service members with a background and interest in the Information Technology field (i.e. IT Support Specialist, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator). This unique internship program offers an invaluable opportunity to apply your military skills and leadership in a civilian work environment, where you’ll gain hands‑on experience and contribute to vital business initiatives via onsite on‑the‑job training as an IT Support Specialist/Junior Systems Administrator.

The IT Support Specialist / Junior Systems Administrator supports day-to-day technology operations within a Managed Services and Security Provider (MSSP) environment. The individual works alongside experienced technicians and systems administrators to provide technical support to multiple customer environments while developing practical skills in troubleshooting, systems administration, monitoring, cybersecurity, and customer service. Responsibilities include responding to and documenting service requests, troubleshooting workstation and application issues, remotely supporting endpoints, assisting with user and identity administration, monitoring system health, and escalating complex technical or security issues.

The position also assists with proactive maintenance, patching, endpoint security, documentation, and basic infrastructure administration.

The Department of Defense Skill Bridge program connects transitioning service members with industry partners to gain meaningful civilian work experience through training, internships, or apprenticeships during the last 180 days of their military service. This program benefits service members by providing the chance to explore civilian career fields while enabling industry partners access to a skilled and motivated workforce.
As part of this program, service members continue to receive their military salary and benefits while engaging in practical training and work experience.

What We Are Looking For
  • Currently serving as an Active Duty military service member and eligible for the Skill Bridge program.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • A proactive, team‑oriented mindset with an ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to learn and apply military experiences in the Information Technology field.
Preferred (Not Mandatory) Qualifications
  • A STEM degree.
  • Experience in the Information Technology Field
  • IT Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
