Responsibilities
- Lead proliferation of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions throughout the enterprise to address business challenges
- Identify and solve complex business problems using advanced numerical techniques, algorithms, and models in statistical modeling, machine learning, operations research, and data mining
- Utilize advanced analytical capabilities to support and drive data science initiatives across teams
- Communicate findings and insights to product teams, customers, and senior management, educating them on AI, machine learning, and statistical models
- Lead interactions between analytics, business units, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective implementation of data-driven solutions
- Conduct data mining and extraction activities, applying algorithms to derive actionable insights
- Synthesize and present analytical findings for consumption by teams and senior executives
- Apply AI techniques to achieve specific business outcomes while managing resource and data constraints
- Mentor and develop junior data scientists, fostering advanced data analysis skills
- Translate business priorities into data science deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Implement best practices in ML/AI/DS for new data products; build scalable and robust software solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in data science or related areas
- Ability to communicate effectively and document objectives and procedures
- Expertise in leveraging a wide variety of data science tools and frameworks
- Support data exploration and analysis tasks supporting analytics objectives
- Knowledge of model evaluation, tuning, performance, operationalization, and scalability of scientific techniques
- Proficiency in statistical modeling applications
- Proficiency in advanced SQL across multiple syntaxes
