Location: Northern

The UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, located in Jacksonville, Florida, has an immediate opening for a full-time Information Technology Supervisor. The Supervisor, IT Support, is responsible for the overall management of UF Health Proton Therapy Institute's (UFHPTI) Information Technology program and systems to ensure that business operations are maintained effectively, reliably and with a high level of compliance. This position will coordinate and partner with key stakeholders in the deployment of support for IT services in alignment with UF Health IT Standards.

This is a working leadership position that will have direct reports requiring day-to-day management of operations.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study with 2+ years of experience managing IT and leading cross-functioning teams or associate's degree in appropriate field of study with 5+ years of experience managing IT and leading cross-functioning teams.

Radiation Oncology application experience is preferred (i.e. Mosaiq, Ray Station, MIM, etc.).

Qualified candidates must have proven ability to manage project scope, schedules and resources effectively as well as strong skills in risk management, issue resolution and stakeholder communications.

UFHPTI is looking for a highly motivated individual who has a desire to assist, takes initiative and maintains a positive attitude. Above-average communication skills, both oral and written, are required. The Supervisor, IT must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly and easily to change and adjust behavior and approach to work when necessary. The Supervisor must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
