The Role:Supply Chain M&A Specialist
We are seeking a Supply Chain M&A specialist to join our Supply Chain Strategy team, partnering directly with our Global M&A Capability practice. In this role, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients navigating complex mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise transformation initiatives where supply chain is a primary source of value and a primary source of risk. You will bring together supply chain domain depth, enterprise platform fluency, and sharp business acumen to shape strategy, lead delivery, and architect solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
What You’ll Do:Strategic Advisory & M&A Support
- Lead business and supply chain strategy engagements focused on M&A readiness, integration/separation planning, and enterprise capability assessment
- Partner with client leadership to evaluate enterprise platform landscapes and identify supply chain synergies, one‑time and run costs, gaps, and transformation opportunities
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps that align technology capabilities with business value streams and GTM objectives
- Facilitate executive workshops to align stakeholders on priorities, risks, and integration sequencing
- Planning :
Merger-driven demand and supply planning consolidation, forecast harmonization, S&OP and IBPO business process integration, and connected planning platform migration - Sourcing & Procurement :
Spend and supplier overlap analysis, category rationalization, source-to-pay and procure-to-pay integration, and procurement data harmonization - Logistics& Distribution :
Network design, DC and 3PL transition, transportation and warehouse system convergence, and new site or expansion program management - Manufacturing :
Plant and site integration and separation, production transfer and requalification, capacity and footprint consolidation, and MES and shop‑floor system convergence - Digital :
Supply chain data transformation, product and material master data management, visibility and control tower build‑out, and AI accelerators applied to integration/separation analysis
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps that sequence enterprise platform initiatives across people, process, and technology dimensions, grounded in a firsthand understanding of what delivery and architecture decisions look like in practice
- Apply delivery leadership and solution architecture experience to assess the feasibility, sequencing, and risk profile of enterprise initiatives
- Translate platform‑level architectural trade‑offs such as build vs. buy vs. integrate decisions, integration complexity, and data migration risk into strategic planning inputs that inform M&A integration timelines and investment priorities
- Identify and communicate dependencies, constraints, and critical path items that can only be surfaced by someone with hands‑on platform configuration and engagement delivery experience
- Conduct detailed level‑of‑effort (LOE) analysis, complexity scoring, and risk assessments for enterprise initiatives
- Develop strategic roadmaps that sequence work streams across people, process, and technology dimensions
- Produce high‑quality deliverables including business cases, capability assessments, and implementation plans
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience delivering supply chain and/or M&A projects in a consulting environment
- Track record of managing client‑facing engagements from initiation through post‑go‑live support
- Experience working across multiple industries and client sizes is strongly preferred
