HANA RISE - Greenfield EWM Implementation & International Rollout
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Project Manager to lead a greenfield SAP Extended Warehouse Management implementation as part of a wider SAP S/4
HANA RISE transformation programme.
The successful candidate will join during the Prepare phase and take hands-on ownership of the EWM project through the full implementation lifecycle, from Prepare through to Go-Live and subsequent rollout activities.
This is a hands-on Project Manager role, rather than a Programme Manager position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the EWM project, coordinating functional and technical teams, managing planning and risks, driving workshops and ensuring the project progresses successfully through the SAP Activate lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP EWM implementation and rollout projects from Prepare through Go-Live.
- Take hands-on ownership of the EWM project lifecycle, ensuring activities, milestones, dependencies and deliverables are managed effectively.
- Manage cross-functional SAP functional and technical consultants.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, status reporting, RAID management and governance.
- Drive delivery using SAP Activate methodology.
- Lead and coordinate Fit-to-Standard workshops, ensuring business requirements are assessed against SAP standard processes.
- Coordinate multiple international country rollouts within an SAP S/4
HANA RISE programme. - Deliver SAP EWM solutions aligned to SAP Best Practices and the EWM Baseline Industry Template.
- Coordinate integration between SAP EWM and SAP S/4
HANA. - Manage warehouse technology integrations, including RF devices and associated warehouse technologies.
- Coordinate EWM dependencies with wider business processes including O2C, P2P and R2R.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies and project timelines through to resolution.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP consultants and technical teams.
- Manage geographically distributed delivery teams.
- Support testing, cutover, deployment and Go-Live activities.
- Ensure effective communication between business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- 10+ years' experience managing SAP implementation projects.
- Proven track record delivering multiple SAP EWM implementation projects as a Project Manager.
- Strong hands-on project management experience across the full SAP implementation lifecycle.
- Strong understanding and practical experience of SAP Activate methodology, including the different project phases.
- Strong experience with Fit-to-Standard workshops and the SAP implementation lifecycle.
- Experience delivering greenfield SAP EWM implementations.
- Experience managing SAPEWM deployments involving:
- SAP S/4
HANA integration - Warehouse integrations
- RF device integration
- Warehouse technologies
- SAP S/4
- Experience leading SAP S/4
HANA implementation or transformation projects. - Strong understanding of SAP EWM master data and transactional data objects.
- Good understanding ofEWM integration with:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Strong project planning and scheduling experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on Project Manager rather than solely at programme governance level.
