- Dev Ops – Carmel, IN or Golden, CO

The Software Engineering Intern
- Dev Ops supports Allegion’s Global Software Solutions team by learning to help deploy, secure, and monitor our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced Dev Ops engineers in a dynamic, Agile environment, gaining hands‑on exposure to Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling while being mentored throughout your internship. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

• Support development teams in deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting application releases across our Azure environments
• Help build and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Power Shell, and Terraform
• Assist in monitoring uptime, performance, and other operational metrics, and help drive open issues to resolution
• Partner with IT, Information Security, and Product Engineering teams on assigned projects
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team Dev Ops initiatives
• Explore new cloud technologies alongside your mentor and share what you learn with the team

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Required)
• Coursework or project experience with a scripting or programming language such as Power Shell, Python, or Unix shell scripting (Required)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (Required)
• Self‑motivated, curious, and comfortable working in a team environment (Required)
• Foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts;
  Microsoft Azure preferred (Preferred)
• Basic understanding of version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts (Preferred)
