The OpportunityRCG is seeking an experienced Desktop/Endpoint Administrator to support our government client in Boulder, CO
. This is a full-time,
on-site position responsible for desktop and endpoint administration, end-user technical support, device deployment, software management, and endpoint security. The Desktop/Endpoint Administrator will also participate in and help manage a small desktop support team while ensuring reliable, secure, and effective technical support for government and contractor users.
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and support Windows laptops and desktops, macOS devices, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and other endpoint equipment.
- Deploy and manage applications using Big Fix, Microsoft Intune, and Company Portal for iOS devices
. - Administer Apple, Android, and other mobile devices through Microsoft Intune
. - Manage and support macOS devices using JAMF Pro
. - Configure and maintain full-disk encryption using Bit Locker or other approved encryption solutions.
- Configure and support Microsoft Surface Hub interactive whiteboards.
- Provide email provisioning and support for personal productivity applications and approved end-user software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, software, printer, network, communications, and connectivity issues.
- Support both on-site equipment and government-furnished equipment used remotely, including laptops, smartphones, tablets, and VPN tokens.
- Perform preventive and remedial hardware maintenance, diagnostic testing, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Coordinate the repair or replacement of malfunctioning equipment as necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain local and network printers and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support approved software on endpoints and applicable systems.
- Manage software licenses and maintain accurate records of software versions, installations, and locations.
- Maintain electronic documentation for hardware, software, technical notes, installation procedures, and related support information.
- Monitor software versions and recommend upgrades as appropriate.
- Support hardware inventory, equipment moves, installations, component upgrades, and software-driver updates.
- Coordinate equipment changes with the appropriate property custodian and maintain required asset records.
- Monitor and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities using approved security tools.
- Help ensure endpoints comply with established security, software, encryption, and configuration requirements.
- Support incident response activities and coordinate with cybersecurity teams during investigation, containment, and remediation efforts.
- Participate in and help manage a small team providing desktop and endpoint support.
- Assist with network and infrastructure support as needed to maintain system performance, availability, connectivity, and security.
- Coordinate with technical teams and customer stakeholders to resolve user and endpoint issues efficiently.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT experience
