** Summary
* * Responsible for the system's development and enforcement of cybersecurity policy and strategy and protecting the organization's digital assets from cyber threats and attacks. Oversees the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the system's cybersecurity technology. Serves as a subject matter authority across multiple security domains, driving advanced strategies, architecture, and operational excellence. This role typically involves leadership in complex security initiatives, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

This role is required to be on-call outside of regular working hours to respond to urgent issues and ensure continuous operational support.

** Job Duties
*** Evaluate emerging technologies (AI-driven security, IoT protection) and integrate them into enterprise defense strategies.
* Perform real-time monitoring of networks, endpoints, and cloud environments using SIEM and EDR tools.
* Conduct threat intelligence analysis, including monitoring dark web activity and emerging attack techniques.
* Lead technical investigations of complex security incidents.
* Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and cloud environments.
* Ensure technical implementations align with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST CSF).  
** Minimum Qualifications

** Preferred Qualifications
*** 10 years related work experience to be considered in lieu of degree.
* Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
* Expertise in securing Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments, including identity and access management
* Understanding forensic methodologies, malware analysis, and chain-of-custody principles.
