We are seeking a GCP Infrastructure Engineer for a 2-year contract position. This is a remote role based in the US.
Responsibilities- Design and implement Google Cloud Platform architecture and infrastructure solutions
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code implementations
- Architect and deploy cloud security controls including identity and access management, context-aware access policies, and data loss prevention measures
- Implement and manage Google Cloud networking, Cloud Armor, and Web Application Firewall configurations
- Design and automate recovery workflows and orchestration processes
- Support disaster recovery and cyber recovery initiatives
- Develop event-driven automation and resilience-focused infrastructure solutions
- Required
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and engineering experience
- Infrastructure as Code implementation, with Terraform preferred
- Cloud security expertise including IAM, Context-Aware Access, DLP, and security posture management
- Google Cloud networking, Cloud Armor, and WAF implementation experience
- Experience with recovery automation and event-driven workflows
- Kubernetes or Open Shift platform fundamentals knowledge
- Application recovery concepts and implementation experience
- Background supporting disaster recovery, cyber recovery, or resilience-focused initiatives
