Alpha Omega is seeking a Lead 508 Compliance Specialist in support of our 287(g) Program customer. In this role, this individual will manage the end-to-end accessibility remediation lifecycle for 287(g) program documentation, serving as a gatekeeper for digital inclusion and ensuring public-facing Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) comply with Section 508.
Key Responsibilities:- Document Remediation & Quality Assurance:
- Compliance Lifecycle: Receive incoming MOAs and execute a multi-stage remediation process using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Rigorous Validation: Perform iterative scanning to identify and rectify accessibility barriers, ensuring all documents meet federal 508 standards.
- Data Integrity: Conduct parallel data quality checks on MOAs to ensure document content accurately reflects program records before finalization.
- Publication & Metadata Management:
- Public Access Workflow: Upon successful remediation, generate web-accessible versions of MOAs and facilitate the creation of hyperlinks for the public-facing program website.

- Batch Distribution: Manage the secure distribution of compliant MOAs to government POCs in consistent, manageable batches.
- Feedback Loop: Coordinate with federal leads to receive validated files and integrate final URLs into the central MOA tracker.
