Description:

** Trek Bicycle Corporation is seeking an accomplished and innovative Software Development Manager to lead our ERP engineering team, with a primary focus on the Sales & Distribution functional domain. This key, hands-on role serves as the primary interface between business partners, leadership, and technology staff—delivering high-quality technical solutions through a team of Software Engineers responsible for the development and support of our JDE ERP platform and integrated systems.

This position leads a team that designs, builds, implements, documents, and supports technical solutions across the full ERP ecosystem—from architecture through go-live and ongoing production support—with deep ownership of Sales & Distribution and its connected third-party integrations.

* Position Responsibilities:

*** Manage a team of software engineers including performance reviews, career development plans, and regular one-on-one meetings, with a focus on developing deep Sales & Distribution domain expertise within the team.
* Lead a team of software engineers specializing in ERP systems, particularly JDE, with primary ownership of Sales & Distribution functional modules including:
* Sales order management
* Pricing and promotions
* Customer master data
* Product master data
* Distribution and fulfillment processes
* Returns and credit processing
* Transportation management
* Oversee the on-time delivery of ERP projects that meet business requirements and adhere to quality standards, with particular accountability for Sales & Distribution initiatives.
* Partner with Sales, Distribution, and Operations business stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize requirements for ERP implementations, upgrades, and customizations.
* Lead technical scoping, system design, and go-live support for Sales & Distribution projects; translate complex business processes into robust ERP and integration solutions.
* Contribute to the development and execution of the ERP systems architecture and long-term roadmap, ensuring the Sales & Distribution ecosystem evolves to meet Trek's growth and operational needs.
* Ensure compliance with best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC), including source control, unit testing, and deployment processes.
* Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure effective communication of requirements and solutions across all functional areas.
