Position Summary

The Digital Accessibility Support Specialist is a key member of the Digital Accessibility and Content ( DAC ) Team in the Office of Information Technology ( OIT ) at Portland State University ( PSU ).

In this position, you will provide direct digital accessibility support to members of the PSU community who procure, design, or manage public-facing and internal, non-instructional digital resources. You will play a significant role in providing support to the PSU community by maintaining digital accessibility support resources, conducting accessibility documentation reviews, providing consultative support, building and deploying training sessions, and contributing to team goals.

In this role, you will regularly collaborate with colleagues across campus, including the Office of Equity, Audit and Compliance;
Office of Academic Innovation; PSU Library;
Disability Resource Center;
Office of Human Resources; and more.

Triage and support incoming digital accessibility service requests and coordinate third-party remediation for PSU’s public-facing and internal, non-instructional digital resources.
