CompensationSalary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 per year
About the RoleThis opportunity is for a Sr Automation Tester to support high-quality software delivery in a fully remote environment. The role focuses on designing and executing automated and manual testing strategies across modern applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement within Agile and Dev Ops-driven workflows.
What You'll Do- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts
- Build, configure, and maintain automated test frameworks and test environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automated tests into the SDLC
- Implement and maintain data-driven and keyword-driven automation frameworks
- Perform API and web services testing to validate system integrations
- Use tools such as Selenium, UFT, RFT, and version control systems to support testing activities
- Conduct non-functional testing including performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Load Runner
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in automation testing with hands-on use of tools such as Selenium, UFT, or RFT
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience with API and web services testing
- Knowledge of automation frameworks, including data-driven and keyword-driven approaches
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Experience with Dev Ops practices and continuous integration environments
- Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner
- Agile or SAFe certifications
- Experience testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
- Additional training or certifications in testing or automation
