A&D​/SAP Transportation Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management consultant for a 12-month contract position based in Fremont, California. In this role, you will lead end-to-end SAP S/4

HANA Transportation Management (TM) solution design, configuration, and delivery, partnering with business stakeholders to architect and implement robust transportation processes.

• Lead requirements gathering, assessment, and analysis; author functional specifications and consult with business process owners
• Complete Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaires and documentation
• Perform requirements management activities including configuration documentation, key decision documentation, process flow design, authorization and security planning, test planning for standard and custom objects, change management, and reporting
• Plan and conduct workshops for system demonstrations and presentations
• Drive end-to-end SAP TM solution delivery and program execution

• Required
  • Strong consulting and hands-on experience with SAP S/4
    
    HANA Transportation Management (TM)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end SAP TM solutions and programs
  • Working knowledge of Freight Units and Freight Orders
  • Experience with Carrier integration
  • Experience with Route Determination configuration
  • Clear English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and stakeholder collaboration abilities
• Preferred
  • Experience with ShipERP integration for small parcel management
  • Experience with Warehouse Management (EWM), Global Trade Services (GTS), and Dangerous Goods integrations
  • Integration experience with external warehouse systems (3PL)
  • Aerospace and Defense (A&D) manufacturing industry experience
  • Manufacturing software and/or consulting background
  • Active relevant SAP certifications
