Specialized Sales, Database, Enterprise - Digital Natives

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing customer adoption of AWS database services? In this role, you will work directly with AWS account teams and Digital Native customers nationwide by marshalling your deep technology selling experience, enthusiasm for database technology and results-oriented focus to help AWS customers build amazing products and services on AWS database services like Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Document DB.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, enterprise technology sales representative with a passion for customer growth. The successful candidate will own a demonstrated track record of selling success, technical acumen as well as a team-player mentality. The successful candidate will have experience driving executive, C-level customer engagement, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers and technical architects.

He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical opportunities, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.

• 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
• Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions
• 5+ years of direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions experience

• Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
• Experience selling to a variety of customer types including Enterprise, ISV, SMB, and Startups.
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape in database technologies.
