The Test Lead – Special Testing is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and execution of testing processes for networking equipment, servers, enterprise hardware, and other specialized devices. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership by supporting testing operations, researching new testing methods, creating custom test environments, and ensuring specialized products meet quality standards before shipment.

This position serves as a key technical resource within the testing department, providing expertise on advanced testing processes and working closely with Engineering, Operations, and the Test Lead to improve testing capabilities, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Junior Lead – Special Testing plays an important role in maintaining high-quality standards while helping the team successfully manage complex testing requirements.

• Research and develop testing procedures for new products, technologies, and hardware configurations.
• Design, build, and maintain testing environments, equipment, and fixtures used to validate specialized hardware.
• Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and updated testing processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware, networking, and system configuration issues throughout the testing process.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to implement new testing requirements and improve existing processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance testing procedures.
• Train technicians on special testing processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
