OverviewWe are seeking a Workday Financials
- Implementation Oversight Consultant who will support state government clients with independent oversight of Workday Financials implementations. This contingent subcontractor will provide functional, technical, and project management expertise across quality assurance, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), independent assessment, and implementation oversight activities. The engagement is expected to be mostly remote, approximately 40-80 hours per month, with work aligned to Pacific Time Zone hours and occasional travel to Washington State.
- Lead and support state government consulting projects involving independent quality assurance, IV&V, project management, IT systems planning, business process improvement/analysis, independent testing, and related oversight services.
- Provide Workday Financials implementation expertise from functional, technical, and project management perspectives.
- Review client project artifacts, including vendor deliverables, project management plans, and tracking logs, and provide independent feedback and recommendations.
- Report project status, risks, and issues in written and verbal formats to varied audiences, including client executive leadership.
- Facilitate meetings and interviews with client stakeholders and support development of project staff through training, learning, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Work approximately 40-80 hours per month with flexibility based on project needs, primarily during Pacific Time Zone business hours, and travel to Washington State for key meetings and deliverables approximately 3-4 times during the engagement.
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in quality assurance (QA), Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), audit, or other independent assurance roles on large ERP implementations.
- Experience implementing Workday Financials, including roles in configuration, architecture, platform integration, data migration, and release/environments management.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong client service attitude.
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours and accommodate occasional travel to Washington State.
- Experience supporting public-sector or state government ERP implementations.
- Experience providing project oversight, independent assessment reporting, QA, or IV&V for Workday Financials implementations.
- Candidates located in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone regions are preferred.
