Principal Product Manager, Underwriting

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for underwriting capabilities
• Act as the general manager for the product, overseeing strategy, execution, and financial outcomes
• Provide product leadership for underwriting workbench experiences to enhance underwriter productivity
• Partner with data science and analytics teams to integrate insights into underwriting workflows
• Ensure compliance with internal and external governance requirements for underwriting processes

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree and/or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area
• 8–12 years of experience in product management within SaaS or enterprise software environments
• Demonstrated experience owning complex workflow or decision-centric product domains
• Deep understanding of P&C commercial lines underwriting and regulatory considerations
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences

• Hands-on experience with underwriting systems
• Experience delivering configurable, decision-centric platforms and AI-enabled workflows
• Strong execution discipline in managing ambiguity and shifting priorities in complex environments
