Job Description  AXIS is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist, Property Programs Claims, to join our North America Claims team reporting to the Head of Property Program Claims.  This position requires senior claims management and handling expertise for both the oversight and management of TPA handled claims.  This is primarily a property position, but multi-line experience is a plus.

This role will handle complex commercial property claims, provide best-in-class service and be responsible for:  
• Handling oversight claim files involving complex and severe loss in various jurisdictions as defined by escalation criteria and claims guidelines.  
• Set accurate claim reserves and make referrals to Head of Property Programs where necessary  
• Prepare coverage positions to be reviewed and approved by Head of Property Programs Claims  
• Work closely with Independent Adjusters, external legal advisors and brokers ensuring a premier claims service to clients is maintained, escalating issues as appropriate   
• Monitor and investigate claims and develop resolution strategy   
• Auditing of Third-Party Administrators to ensure reserve adequacy.  
• Ensuring TPA compliance with reportable criteria via regular auditing and stewardship meetings.  
• Claim Performance:
Ensure timely and appropriate claim handling, legal and vendor expenses, exposure evaluations, and reserving- including appropriate use of signal reserves as well as the sensitivity projection process, to drive optimal claims resolutions for insureds and Axis.  
• Identify opportunities for and execute on the reduction of ULAE spend, including Monitoring Counsel and Coverage Counsel & identify opportunities the increased use of internal Severity and Coverage resources.  
• Compliance & Quality Assurance – Comply with best practices measured by monthly Quality Assurance and Management Initiated Audit scores as well as the implementation of Management Action Plans for all claims groups in…
