Job Description
As a Virtual Auto Estimator on our NEST team, you will be responsible for writing initial vehicle damage estimates. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with body shops and customers by reviewing vehicle damage photos and producing high‑quality initial estimates in a fast‑paced, high‑production environment
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in auto technical estimating skills, a solid understanding of repair procedures, and the confidence to negotiate effectively with repair facilities. Experience in CCC and Microsoft applications is essential.
Candidates located in the Central Time Zone who hold an active insurance license are highly preferred. Previous experience in the auto insurance industry is also strongly desired.
- Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
- Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
- This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is:
Auto Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 - 37.50/hourly
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.
As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. By proceeding with the application process, applicants acknowledge and accept these licensing requirements and agree to comply.
