Republic Indemnity is hiring a Loss Control Consultant to service accounts in the greater Los Angeles area. EssentialJob functions and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and train insureds to reduce claim frequency and injury severity
- Identify key workplace safety exposures and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Deliver effective presentations and customer service to prospective and existing insureds
- Communicate clearly with insureds, producers, and underwriting, both verbally and in writing
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- 3 or more years of experience in workers’ compensation safety.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, judgement, decision-making, time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
- English & Spanish skills are a strong plus.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required.
- Ability to drive within the assigned territory on a weekly basis.
