Alliance Insurance Launches 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme for Actuarial Analysts
Alliance Insurance Company has officially opened applications for its Analyst Graduate Trainee Programme 2026, targeting ambitious graduates eager to build a career in actuarial science, risk analysis, and insurance analytics.
The programme, which runs for 12 or 18 months, provides structured experiential learning, mentorship, and direct exposure to real-world actuarial challenges within a licensed financial services provider in Lesotho.
Trainees will support critical functions including actuarial valuations, product pricing, financial modelling, experience analysis, and strategic projects that strengthen the company’s insurance portfolio.
Who Should Apply?Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a strong quantitative background.
Key Requirements Include- A Bachelor’s Degree (Actuarial Science preferred as a minimum)
- No prior work experience required
- Solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis
- Knowledge of Excel, R, or Python is a strong advantage
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and learning agility
Successful trainees will gain practical experience in areas such as PAA and GMM valuations, IBNR calculations, mortality and lapse analysis, product performance monitoring, asset-liability modelling, and capital adequacy requirements.
