Which, through our affiliates, Champlain Specialty Insurance Company, West Congress Insurance Services LLC, and West Congress Risk Services LLC, offers primary and excess general liability insurance solutions and claims administration throughout the United States.

We are in need of an Assistant Account Executive to join our team. The Assistant Account Executive is responsible for supporting Account Executives within the Artisan Contractors or Energy casualty business for the evaluation, rating, quoting and binding of new and renewal submissions; interacting with insured and brokers, and other tasks related to the intake, evaluation, binding, issuance, and modifications of the insurance products we offer.

We prefer that the successful candidate have at minimum two (2) years’ experience with a carrier, MGA or other insurance producer underwriting general liability and excess liability accounts.

• Provide support to Account Executives
• Analyze and screen submissions
• Issue endorsements and cancellations
• Issue Quotes, Binders and Policies
• Respond to and resolve billing inquiries
• Solicit underwriting information for new and renewal business
• Policy rating, including entry of loss and exposure information
• Request additional information post-bind to complete file
• File Maintenance
• Maintain service standards by providing timely responses to broker requests and inquiries
• Interact with producers to communicate the status of open submissions, to ensure complete submission files and to clearly present price and terms and conditions offered in any quote or indication
• Provide a superior customer experience
• Prepare quotes, binders, policies, endorsements and amendments
• Generally, support producers and insureds with any aspect of an existing or prospective account to increase new business and optimize renewal retention

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency in math, typing, Microsoft Word & Excel and other computer software & systems
• 2+ years experience in the insurance industry
