The Senior Casualty Broker role will collaborate extensively with both clients and markets around the advisory and placement services for risk management casualty programs primarily focused on loss-sensitive primary casualty, umbrella/excess liability, and ancillary lines of coverage as applicable.

* Duties & Responsibilities:
*** Assist and/or set client-specific casualty program strategy and execute on that strategy
* Work closely with clients and the overall service team to review and advise on specific risk and insurance programs, technical questions, contract review as necessary
* Develop and maintain market relationships to solidify placement sources for new and renewal business
* Offer creative solutions to clients in tailoring programs for difficult to place risk and insurance programs
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current marketplace and capabilities of available markets to determine/select potential markets for submission of applications
* Prepare thorough submissions; request and gather additional information as needed
* Negotiate pricing, collateral, policy terms & conditions with selected and prepare and submit proposals
* Coordinate client/insurance company partner meetings as needed at renewal and throughout the year
* Anticipate needs of clients with timely solicitation of renewal information
* Work to resolve problems that may arise with client relationships, payment issues on accounts, claims issues, E&O exposures, etc.
* Work closely with the analytics team for loss projections/collateral analysis, program structure
* Work closely with the production team preparing and presenting RFP’s and any other prospective business presentations
* Other duties as assigned
* Travel as needed

* Qualifications:
*** 10+ years in a Casualty Broker role required
* State specific license is required
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Specific broking experience with complex casualty risks
* Strong understanding of actuarial loss projections and collateral analysis
** Salary**: $160-180k salary range plus bonus opportunity and benefits. This information reflects the anticipated range for this position. Actual salary may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.#LI-AA1
