Progressive trains people with no insurance background to handle auto claims from start to finish, over the phone rather than in the field. The pay is printed on the advert and a degree is not required, so three years of any work experience is enough to be considered. The catch is location: you have to live within 60 miles of the Asheville office, and Progressive states it does not sponsor work visas for this role.

• Three years of work experience, OR a bachelor's degree, OR two years of work experience and an associate degree
• You must reside within 60 miles of Progressive's Asheville office at 2 Town Square Blvd, Suite 260, Asheville, NC 28803
• The role requires you to take and pass a licensing exam to adjust claims on behalf of Progressive
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

• $54,000 to $57,500 a year based on experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
• In-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts, so no insurance experience is needed
