** on our Upper Midwest team, supporting
** Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI), Private Products, and Named Peril
** claims operations.

As the Area Claims Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and developing a team, ensuring efficient claims service through effective training and communication strategies. You will oversee the development and maintenance of internal communications to streamline claims processes, while serving as the local expert to provide guidance on claims adjusting issues, address concerns, and support your team in delivering exceptional service.

*** Build and maintain effective relationships with Regional Leadership and cross-functional partners to support timely, accurate, and compliant claims processing.
* Provide claims-related updates, analysis, and reporting to the Regional Claims Manager to support operational, staffing, budgeting, and performance decisions.
* Monitor claims productivity, service-level performance, adjuster workloads, closure rates, payment timelines, and other key claims metrics.
* Analyze resource utilization and staffing needs to support efficient claims operations and budget management.
* Identify training and performance gaps, partnering with Claims Training and leadership to ensure service standards are achieved.
* Coach and support adjusters through guidance, work reviews, and feedback to promote consistency, accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company procedures.
