Overview
LHH is partnering with a well-established regional law firm to identify an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney for a fully remote role. This opportunity is ideal for a Commercial Real Estate lawyer who enjoys sophisticated deal work, direct client interaction, and the flexibility of a remote practice while remaining engaged in a collaborative firm environment.
The attorney in this role will support a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, working closely with clients, opposing counsel, and lenders to move deals efficiently from inception through closing. The firm offers a collegial culture, high-quality work, and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, analyze, and negotiate commercial real estate documents, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, and other transaction-related materials, ensuring alignment with client objectives and transaction deadlines
- Coordinate with clients and external deal counsel to gather, review, and manage required transaction documentation throughout the lifecycle of each matter
- Review and negotiate loan and financing documentation in connection with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and developments
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on issues arising in commercial real estate matters, as well as related areas such as corporate and transactional law, as needed
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in Ohio
- Ability to travel monthly/bi-monthly to firm’s offices in Columbus and/or Northeast Ohio and must reside in commuting distance
- Three or more (3+) years of demonstrated experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including leasing and acquisitions
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while maintaining responsiveness to clients and deal teams
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
