Legal, Risk & Compliance Manager

The Antwi Group is seeking an experienced, commercially minded, and highly professional Director / Manager of Legal & Business Affairs to lead the organization’s Legal & Business Affairs function.

Working closely with Executive Leadership
, the Director / Manager of Legal & Business Affairs will oversee legal and business-affairs matters involving contracts, corporate transactions, intellectual property, music and entertainment agreements, licensing, partnerships, vendor and client agreements, employment-related legal matters, regulatory considerations, and other business activities requiring legal review.

The successful candidate will help The Antwi Group and its businesses evaluate legal and commercial risks while developing practical solutions that support responsible long-term growth.

This position requires excellent legal judgment, contract-drafting and negotiation abilities, business understanding, discretion, leadership, and the ability to work effectively with executives and departments throughout the organization.

• Lead and develop the Legal & Business Affairs function.
• Serve as an internal legal resource to Executive Leadership and authorized company personnel.
• Provide legal advice within the attorney’s areas of competence and licensure.
• Review, draft, revise, and negotiate business agreements.
• Develop and maintain contract-review procedures.
• Establish legal-document organization and recordkeeping standards.
• Supervise Corporate Counsel, Contracts & Business Affairs personnel, Legal Operations personnel, Legal Assistants, and other assigned staff.
• Coordinate with qualified outside counsel when specialized or jurisdiction-specific legal advice is required.
• Identify significant legal and contractual risks and communicate them clearly to company leadership.
• Support corporate transactions and strategic business initiatives.
• Assist with legal due diligence for approved partnerships and business-development opportunities.
• Review proposed business arrangements before commitments are made.
• Support company intellectual-property protection and licensing activities.
• Advise on music, entertainment, media, and creative-industry business matters within the attorney’s professional competence.
• Review marketing, advertising, promotional, and media matters when legal review is appropriate.
• Coordinate legal review of significant vendor and service-provider agreements.
• Assist Human Resources with employment-related legal matters and coordinate specialized employment counsel when required.
• Work with Finance & Accounting on contractual payment terms, financial obligations, and transaction structures.
• Work with Business Development on partnerships, strategic opportunities, and commercial agreements.
• Work with Sales & Client Relations on significant customer and client contracts.
• Help maintain appropriate corporate records in coordination with Executive Leadership and Administration.
• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting company operations.
• Develop appropriate legal policies, contract templates, and business-affairs procedures.
• Coordinate responses to legal notices, disputes, claims, or regulatory inquiries with appropriate leadership and outside counsel.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and applicable attorney-client privilege.
