Tyson & Mendes is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our San Francisco Bay Area team, one of the firm's largest and most collaborative offices.

This is an opportunity for a paralegal who loves litigation, takes pride in their work, and wants to be more than someone working behind the scenes. Our paralegals are valued members of the litigation team, working alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated matters from initial case development through trial.

Our San Francisco Bay Area office handles a broad range of sophisticated insurance defense litigation throughout California, including construction and construction defect, personal injury and wrongful death, professional liability, toxic tort, insurance coverage and bad faith, employment matters, and appeals.

Led by veteran trial attorney Jim Sell
, the team includes experienced litigators handling high-stakes matters in state and federal courts throughout California.

For a strong litigation paralegal, that means exposure to meaningful cases, experienced attorneys, and the opportunity to play an important role in moving matters toward resolution and trial.

Our paralegals are trusted members of their litigation teams. You'll work closely with attorneys throughout the life of a case and help keep complex matters organized, moving, and trial-ready.

You'll assist with case management, draft and proofread legal documents, organize and analyze large volumes of records, coordinate discovery, and help prepare attorneys and cases for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

You'll also use legal technology and case management tools to create efficient workflows and help your team stay ahead of deadlines and case demands.

This is one of our largest offices, but it maintains the camaraderie and collaboration of a close-knit team.

You'll work with attorneys and legal professionals who communicate, share knowledge, help one another, and recognize that great litigation is rarely a solo effort.

We're looking for an experienced paralegal who knows litigation and enjoys being an integral part of a busy legal team.

You have at least three years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, construction, or a related litigation practice.

You're organized, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities.

You understand how to manage records and discovery and know what it takes to help prepare a case for deposition, hearing, mediation, or trial.

You're detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture.

You communicate well, anticipate what your team needs, and take ownership of your work.
