Role SummaryRowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Associate, Contract Compliance to join our Legal Department. This position is responsible for supporting and advancing the company’s contract compliance function by ensuring contractual obligations are clearly identified, assigned, tracked, and fulfilled across the organization. This role requires demonstrated experience reviewing and interpreting complex lease agreements, credit agreements, and other commercial contracts to translate legal requirements into practical, actionable compliance obligations.
The Senior Associate partners closely with Finance, Business Development, Engineering, Construction and Operations, and other cross‑functional stakeholders to drive accountability for contract performance, monitor compliance status, and support timely satisfaction of contractual requirements throughout the contract lifecycle. In addition to day‑to‑day contract compliance management, this role plays an integral part in developing, improving, and scaling a structured contract compliance program, including standardized processes, tracking tools, and reporting mechanisms.
This position is well‑suited for a detail‑oriented professional who is comfortable working across teams, managing multiple contractual obligations simultaneously, and proactively identifying risks, gaps, and process improvements related to contract compliance.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% for project site visits and company gatherings.
Location: Denver, CO (hybrid in-office role)
Compensation: $90k - $105k (Offers Bonus)
Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement scalable systems to track compliance with contractual obligations, including relating to leases, construction contracts, utility contracts, project financing documents and credit agreements, and other project delivery agreements.
Lead and support efforts to transition from manual tracking to more automated and centralized compliance systems as the program matures.
Maintain compliance calendars, covenant trackers, and supporting documentation.
Escalate any potential risks, missed deadlines, and compliance concerns promptly and clearly.
Serve as a central point of contact for contract compliance questions and help stakeholders understand their responsibilities under agreements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adherence to all contractual requirements
Identify and mitigate compliance risks through proactive monitoring and reporting
Collect and analyze data to anticipate risks and improve compliance programs
BA degree or equivalent
3+ years of contract compliance or comparable experience, preferably within an in-house legal department
