Location: Northern
Boutique Law Firm seeks passionate self starter, motivated individual who will hit the ground running for a full-time legal assistant position in fast-pace law firm.
MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH SPEAKER. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A LAW FIRM.
Two years plus experience required for working for a solo practitioner/boutique firm. MUST also have experience with Criminal, Family, Landlord/Tenant, and/or Immigration and be able to speak with clients and potential clients on the phone. Spanish speaking is a huge plus for this position. Paralegal certificate preferred but not required. Duties to include answering the telephone, customer service, logging telephone calls and messages, scheduling client appointments, preparing conflict notices, assisting the attorney with drafting pleadings and correspondence.

- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and maintained.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies.
- Assist with billing and time entry tasks.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
