Under the hierarchical responsibility of the administrative manager, the Purchasing Manager ensures the procurement and checks the state of stocks in a hotel or catering service. Everything that enters and leaves a hotel is managed by them. The Purchasing Manager (M/F) carries out various missions:

• Ensures procurement and checks the state of stocks, while respecting the applicable standards
• Controls the DLC and DLUO of perishable foodstuffs at the level of storage areas
• Places orders (excluding fresh products) with suppliers designated by management
• Checks received orders both quantitatively and qualitatively
• Manages the sorting of orders
• Prepares orders for various services
• Uses IT tools
• Applies procedures in terms of purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoicing
• Carries out and enters inventories
• Is a force of proposal to optimize the functioning of the service
• May participate in calls for tenders in case of searches for new suppliers
• Must hold a B permit to be able to troubleshoot the hotel in case of food and beverage emergencies (Brégent, Promo Cash, Cadran de Sologne, Hennequart, etc.)

This list of missions is not exhaustive, you may be asked to perform other tasks.

Your role also extends to the digital transformation of our stock management: you accompany the implementation of our new IT solution in direct connection with the Finance team, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

You are recognized for your sense of organization, your rigor, and your ability to manage unforeseen circumstances. Your diplomacy and your ease in relationships allow you to work effectively with all departments and to build lasting partnerships with suppliers.
