Location:
Morganfield, KY (On‑Site)
- Computer generate packing slips/shippers, export papers and master bills daily based on load sheets received from production control manager.
- Run line up schedule & load schedule for daily shipments.
- Transit ASN's by EDI or fax as required by customer.
- Maintain Future 111 files as needed.
- Run UPS shipping labels and transmit info to UPS daily, using UPS online.
- Check UPS bills against UPS shipping records weekly.
- Make shipping adjustments as necessary.
- Investigate reported shipping errors to verify or deny occurrence.
- Maintain barcodes.
- Maintain shipping instruction book.
- Answer Smart system.
- Talk with customers concerning orders and shipments.
- Enter and maintain customer orders and service files.
- Produce daily shipping schedule.
- Maintain company/customer routing guide and post information in a timely manner.
- Maintain the latest revision levels of customer packaging, labeling, and shipping reference guides.
- Maintain inventory of required dunnage.
- Track monthly delivery scores.
- Meet daily window times for customers.
- Manage credit hold list.
- Ensure packaging standards are correct.
- Maintain weekly customer spreadsheet of orders for Paccar.
- Update/maintain new launch requirements weekly.
- Supervise dock workers and shipping assistant.
- Perform daily 5S audits.
- Submit/approve/track vacation days of shipping personnel.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school preferred.
- One to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
