Job Description
The candidate is responsible for inventory, stocking and issuing parts and supplies and/or purchasing assigned or designated parts and services from an approved list of vendors. Work is reviewed periodically to assure compliance with the department's policies and procedures.
Schedule1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Essential Functions- Receiving and distributing parts to mechanics, log parts into inventory system, parts pricing, parts numbers, due dates to reduce down time.
- Maintain inventory on parts, monitor delivery receipts from vendors against the received parts
- Bulk relieving parts from inventory. Control inventory, returning obsolete, overstock, wrong parts delivered
- Generate work orders from work requests and ensure that the work orders are closed on a timely basis.
- File all related cGMP documents in their assigned areas, i.e. work orders
- Process purchase order requisitions with negotiated quotes from vendors
- Work with vendors for timely deliveries, back orders and rejected items
- High School or GED
- Required
- 1 year or more in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, machine maintenance repair
- Basic math
- Intermediate - Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Beginner
- Ability to learn specialized Inventory software
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
Additional Requirement:
This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
