The Supply Planner I role at JR286 will support global planning and purchasing of the Nike accessory and equipment business. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Product, Demand Planning, and other Operations functions, as well as our external supplier partners, to provide demand/supply plan, purchasing plan, and purchase order (PO) execution. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills combined with demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for purchasing and tracking deliveries with logistics and our Asia planning partners
- Issue PO’s and review open PO’s, delivery status, and perform PO adjustment when needed
- Manage US domestic supplier and global suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Must positively impact inventory management and order fulfillment to improve on-time delivery
- Work in tandem with our Asia partners to expedite and update PO delivery
- Manage logistics flow within US and facilitate customer direct ship
- Manage the monthly buy process of ENI, work with various stakeholders to determine the risk-buy
- Recommend and develop improvements in reporting and processes
- Other duties as assigned
What to Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
- 1 - 3 years recent experience in a planning environment that includes footwear, apparel, accessories or fashion-based products.
- Computer Proficiency including Excel spreadsheets and Oracle ERP
- Must be decisive, and be able to complete tasks to completion
- Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with others
Nice to Have:
- Work industry experience in supply planning for sporting goods accessories is a plus
- Must be self-directed and be able to work and communicate appropriately
- Well organized, attention to detail, and follow up diligently
- Experience with managing customers or suppliers
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand the organization’s strategic direction and execute tactically
- Strong organization skills, good analytical skills; with the ability to look at numbers and draw conclusions about actions to be taken.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, with minimal supervision
Additionally:
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally when required
